    01/26/07 Sick for a week

    220 pounds
    body fat 28.5%

    breakfast: some nut + cup of green tea
    first snack: some nut
    Lunch: 1 cucumber + a bowl of instant oatmeal
    second snack: fruit smoothie
    Dinner: half chicken + Campbell’s Chunky Turkey Pot Pie + Nissin Quick & Easy Chow Mein - Chcken Flavored

    I ‘d been sick for a week. No exercise, no energy, no nothing. I know i shouldn’t go to work sick. However, like other American, i went to work sick because i don’t want my stuff to pile up. Result? i ‘ve got every single one in the office sick and everyone hate me now!

    For the whole week i have been eating “clean”. No meat or fried stuff. Most of the time i ate congee (the Chinese way to cure sore throat, they also believe congee can Cleansing your colon)

    Even though i feel better today, i still don’t want to eat. However, by the end of the day, i experienced extreme hunger. I spent 10 minute in Penn Station debating should i get a slice of pizza or a double cheese burger. However, i made the right choice, a fruit smoothies.

    After i went home, i just lost control. Half a chicken?? still hungry! Chunky soup?? Still hungry!! Chow Mein!! Humm, now i feel a little bit full. 15 minute later, those food start expanding in my stomach and i feel sick again for the whole night…

    hei.. are you OK now? tq for visiting my blog but i guess you couldnt understand it as i wrote it in malay?.. Try to eat more vitamin C to stay healthy.. whenever i catcht flu or cold, i used to take 3-4 tablets of esther-C 1000mg before bed. And the next day? Walla… you are shining like a star..

    I am alright now and ready to workout again! Thanks for ask. I tried esther-C but it taste link medicine. Instead, i eat Halls Defense VitaminC supplement Drop. Taste like candy with 100% of vitaminC i need in a day. Too bad it is not sugar free. I guess i can live with that extra 15 calories

    Poor boy,
    You must be feeling miserable to be sick for a week. In addition, your colleagues are mad at you !
    Actually, there are no medicine for flu. From my past experience, drink more water and rest more…
    It could be an old tale, but it works ! Take Care :-)
