2012 resolution

By in Daily Health Tips

My 2011 resolution was to drop under 200 lbs, which i successfully achieved. At one point during the summer i drop to 185. However once the winter came, i started gaining weight again.

I am around 198 lbs now, which is around 30 pounds lighter than the beginning of 2011. It was a combination of diet and exercise (as always, eat less move more). It is so much easier to lose weight in summer. In the winter it is too cold to run outside. Also i feel hungry more often.

so my goal of 2012 is to drop below 170 and have less than 10% body fat.

Very impressive! A lot of people talk about their new year’s resolutions but very few actually succeed or even hold on to them.
Yes, another reason why it’s harder to lose weight in the winter is Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sooo much tasty food… :)
      Keep up the good work!

Hi, yes I really understand the issue of winter and weight gain. Who wants to go outside when it’s so miserable and cold out there! It’s so much nicer to veg. Good for you to stick to your goals tho even if there is a blip in the winter – maybe it’s supposed to be like that – gain a bit in winter and take it off in summer.
