    Abs diet - the diet that ask you to eat six times a day

    How does Abs Diet works?

    Abs diet is a new school of dieting. Most traditional diet encourage user to either starve themselves or eat certain kind of food for every single one of his meal. However, the Abs diet is different. It emphasis eating at the right time and eat the right kind of food. In Abs diet, you will be eating six small meal a day instead of the tradition breakfast, lunch and dinner routine. You will eat breakfast in the morning, a small snack around 11 am, then lunch around 1 pm, another snack at three, dinner at six, then the last snack around eight o’clock. The second part of the diet is to eat the right food; you will build you meal around the power 12 that will describe later in my blog.

    Why eat six small meals instead of the traditional three meals a day.

    The Abs diet suggests you to eat three larger meal and three small snack during the day. There are two reasons doing it, to control your blood sugar and hunger. Usually you eat three big meals a day. You blood sugar level spike after the meal. If you liver cannot burn all the food, the food will become fat that store in your belly. However, if you spread your daily food intake in the six smaller portion, you blood sugar remain level after the meal because you are not eating more than you need. The food will turn in to energy instead of fat. The second advantage is that you will not hungry during the day. Because you are eating six time a day, you will be eating every two or three hour. Even though you are eating smaller meal, you won’t feel hungry between meals because they are close.

    The power 12

    With Abs diet, you can eat as much as you were eating. The different is that you replace bad food with the power 12 food. The power 12 include : Nuts(almond is the best), Bead that is high in fiber and protein, vegetables with green leaf like spinach or romaine lettuce, low fat diary product, unprocessed(unsweetened, unflavored) oatmeal, egg(without yolk is better), lean meat like turkey that is low in fat and high in protein, peanut butter (unsweetened, the commercial on that you see in supermarket doesn’t make the cut), olive oil (extra virgin is better), whole grain food, whey protein, raspberries and other berries.

    It is not hard to remember this twelve power food, the 12 food can fit in one phrase “Abs Diet Power”

    Diary
    Instant Oatmeal
    Eggs
    Turkey

    Peanut Butter
    Olive oil
    Whole grain breads
    Extra whey protein powder
    Raspberries

    See, abs diet power, it is just that easy. You can create different Abs diet menus with the Abs diet power 12 food. Try to replace them in your normal meal. Choose lean cut of steak instead of sirloin steak, drink fat free milk instead of whole fat. Replace rice with black beans. Cook with olive oil instead of vegetable or corn oil. Use whole wheat bread instead of white bread. It is very easy to substitute bad food with the power 12. I will describe more way to use the power twelve in your normal meal later
