Back from Trader Joe
After 2 x 45 minutes of subway ride, 10 minutes of shopping and 30 minutes of waiting online, I am home unpacking the stuff (that 2 hour and 10 minute in total). I didn’t get everything I want and I bought something extra.
The line is so long that it goes outside of Trader Joe. It is usual though. There is simply too many people shopping there. All 22 cashier open on Sunday and I still have to wait on line for 30 minute. Since the line wrap around the store, I developed a tactic. Walk through all the aisle in the middle first and then pick up other stuff as I wait on the line.
The Apples is sold out, so do the chicken breast. I totally forgot the grapefruit juice and there is no more angel hair. So I end up buying these
Whole wheat 8 grain bread - $2.79
Ricola breath mints - $.69
Organic vanilla yogurt 1 quart – $2.79
Vanilla almond granola bars $1.99
Peanut crunch granola bars - $1.99
Cottage cheese - $1.99
Salsa tomato jicama - $2.99
Quick Egg (first time I every try it) - $1.99
Clusters very berry cereal - $2.49
Vanilla almond clusters x 2 box - $6.58
Instant apple cinnamon oatmeal – $2.99
Mixed Salad x 2 bag - $5.98
Organic green tea - $2.49
Total: $37.05
Two bag full of healthy food cost me less than $40 buck. Those are enough for like two weeks. Where can you find such a nice deal (don’t tell me Whole Food, they are freaking overpriced)
