How Eggs can help weight loss?

Eggs are a good source of vitamins, proteins and minerals. This is why doctors usually advise parents to give an egg a day to children to help them grow strong and healthy. It is a good source of overall nutrition that plays an important part in the overall development of the child’s body. However, today, doctors suggest that adults who want to reduce weight too should consume eggs. Doctors say that eggs are not only a great source of nutrition, but also very good to help loss weight.

The reason doctors suggest eggs can help in weight loss is that scientific research has proven that the leucine, which is an essential amino acid that is found in eggs, helps in the reduction of weight in your body. Leucine helps in the reduction of the loss of lean tissue when dieting, helps in the promotion of body fat, and is good in stabilizing the levels of blood glucose. There are also two antioxidants found in eggs – lutein and zeaxanthin. These antioxidants have been found to be very helpful in the reduction of cataract and age-related macular degeneration.

It has been proven that the increase of high quality protein in the diet with the inclusion of eggs produces a metabolic advantage to the body. This is because of the presence of a branched chain amino acid, leucine, which is found in eggs and lean meat. In fact, it is said that the amount of eggs that is consumed, and the time of the day that it is consumed are important factors to be reckoned with in weight loss.

The leucine that is found in eggs has unique roles in the regulation of muscle protein synthesis, along with insulin signaling. So the introduction of food which is rich in protein like eggs in the diet, while reducing the consumption of complex carbohydrates in the body, helps in the burning of body fat. This, in the process, helps in controlling your hunger and food cravings. This itself is sufficient in helping in weight loss. It is better to consume eggs for breakfast as it provides maximum advantage for weight loss. The more eggs that are consumed during breakfast time, the more lean muscle mass that is maintained. This is important for long term weight loss and its maintenance.

Of course, to obtain maximum weight loss results with the consumption of eggs, it is better to eat eggs boiled or poached. This is because you will not be using any additional fats in its preparation. Avoid scrambling or frying eggs as this needs fat when cooking. So don’t hesitate to eat eggs the next time you are on a diet, as it is actually a food that can help you reduce weight and not gain weight.

      Agreed, but its best not to each the yolk of the eggs as they contain high levels of cholesterol. I boil my eggs and then I remove the yolk.

      I love egg whites! Im in need 2 lose weight so bad. Ive givin up so many times cause nothing works. Can someone please tell me if i can drink sugar free decaf green tea. I take lisinipril for high blood pressure. Im not suppose 2 have any citris while takeing lisinipril. Is citric acid and citris the same thing? Im trying the green tea 2 lose weight cause i heard it was great 4 weight lose but it has that citric acid in it. Please someone help…..

      I love hard boiled egg. Slice it and add salt and pepper. Anyone know how to make the prefect hard boiled egg? and i would like to know how many calories a hard boiled egg has. Do you guy eat it with the egg yolk? Sometime it is not easy to peel the egg. Any tips for that?

      I always eat plain hard boiled egg but i am getting sick of it. How to cook the prefect hard boiled egg? I want some boiled egg recipe too. I just add mayo but it is not healthy at all!!

      is there any relationship between boiled eggs and weight loss? i know eggs are low in carb and high in protein but i am worry about the calories in egg yolk

      when boiling your eggs, she should be on for about 10 minutes or so. To make them perfectly, just pull one out with a ladel, spin it on the counter, and if it spins smoothly without wobbling, it’s done. Next, drain all the water off the eggs, and shock them in ice cold water. crunch and roll all your eggs to get the water under the shell. I like to prepare my eggs for a few days at a time to keep some protein on hand. Also try canned beans for a handy meal. no cooking required, and they taste great. craving bar food? try cauliflower dipped in a little ranch and hot sauce. It tastes great! hope this helps guys!

      Jewel & Jean, when boiling your eggs, add salt to the water. The shell easily peels right off after cracking it!!

      to peal it is easy ,right after done boil take it out , peal it under running cold water or a bowl full of cold water .It makes it fast and easy

      I absolutely love half boiled eggs. i boil them for 7 muinutes and eat it with a spoon with a lil salt. it is The most delicious snack ever!! i eat 3-4 eggs a day and it has worked:)

      First of thing boailing water and add 1 tsp salt init,the add egg in boiling water 6 to 7 miniuts after that put out the egg from water and weight one min .then take a spoon and shunting the egg all cracks are appear then you peel egg in 5 seconds……

      i lov egg ..my frd suggest me take 6 eggs in one day ..2 breakfast,2 lunch,2 dinner ..and this diet maintain 1 week after 1 week left this..bt my sis said dont use this if u r use this then ur weight icreasing not decreas i m too much confused plz tell me wt i do..plzzzzzzzzz

      I have eaten egg whites fried for breakfast, lunch and dinner with pam olive oil spray, topped with broccoli and cheese,been drinking lipton lemon ginseng green tea everyday,I have lost 100 pounds in 7 months,used also cayenne pepper spices on egg.I eat air popcorn with spray butter with veggie parmesan sprinkled on it for snack. plus eat brazil nuts for snack.drink lemon water throughout the day to.My blood pressure has been perfect joint pain dissappeared .trying to keep my sugar intake under 15 grams a day like under 5grams for breakfast under 5 for lunch and dinner so insulin doesn’t spike and under 120 carbs a day.hope this helps someone.

      Thanks for the tips. While Pam spray has low calories, i am just not comfortable eating all those chemical. Good job losing 100 pounds!
