INTERNAL SALT WATER BATHING / SALT WATER FLUSH

seasalt.jpgInternal salt water bathing is a part of the master cleanse plan. It is used to clean your colonic tract. I have heard it before and most people suggested it is just a fad without trying. I have some doubt in it too. However, it is just salt and water, it won’t kill me, right? so i am going to try it right now.

All you need is one quart (or 1.5 liter , 2.7 FL OZ) of spring or distilled water and two rounded teaspoon of non-iodide sea salt(it is a must, iodized salt will not work). Do it as the first thing in the morning right after you wake up. Luke warm the water and add the salt in it. Drink with empty stomach. The salt water will wash the entire tract in about one hour. Several eliminations will likely occur.

I woke up this morning and perpared the luke warm water with salt. I am drinking the final cup now. It is not as salty as i though. Right after i drank the first cup, i had a really warm feeling in my stomach and that feeling pass on through out my body. I took my first (you know what) after i drank half of the water. However, that’s the usual time that i take a (you know what) everyday so i don’t think it is the salt water (it is not suppose the work that fast anyway).

In the book (The Master Cleanser) it said if the salt water bathing might not work in the first time. You might need to add more salt in the next bath or drink more water after the bath. Also, you should drink some herb laxative tea the night before to loosen the colonic tract the night before the salt water bath wash them away.

Some suggest salt water bath may remove both beneficial and harmful bacteria from the body. Also, the two tea spoon of salt has 200% daily suggestion of sodium.

I will come back and update my (you know what)

    Update:

After one hours, it came. First it is solid, then it became watery. It just keep coming out for like 15 minute. I swear to god i have never smell something so bad like that. I can’t believe it came out from my body.

Unlike diarrhea, i don’t have stomach pain or nausea. It is impossible to control it because it keep coming. I just can’t stand up or do something else

If you want to do internal salt water flush, make sure you have a few hours of spare time. Don’t go anywhere cause you won’t be able to control the “you know what” when it come. And it is going to take a while until it pass

Now this is interesting! I’ve seen a number of those “colon cleanse” systems and methods, and this looks like the easiest way to do it.

I’ll have to do some more research and maybe try it out myself!

You brave soul! Sounds similar to the icky stuff you have to drink before having a colonoscopy - but perhaps a little less icky if it tastes less salty. I have a very difficult time drinking that stuff - I can usaully only manage about half before I start to up chuck (whick would defeat the purpose of getting it down in the first place). I don’t think I’d be brave enough to do it voluntarily.

    thanks in advance =)

Martin: Normal kitchen salt doesn’t work. You need to buy non-iodide sea salt (i got mine from supermarket, you should be able to find it with the normal salt)

Yes, it is best to use organic sea salt for this. Not to mention that this is a much cheaper method than some of those offered in retail.

Jess, no. When you wake up in the morning, take the salt water cleanse on an empty stomach. The salt water will wash through your system in about an hour. Then you can drink some of the lemonade.

Today is my 3rd time doing this in 2 months and it works! I feel energetic and my skin looks amazing 2-3 days after I do it! I also feel light and my stomach looks amazing after. I highly recommend it! I will admit, right after you drink the water and before the first ‘movement’ I feel naseuas. After the first 2 or 3 ‘movements, my mood starts to pick up. I typically have about 6 or 7 ‘moves’ before I’m completely done and it takes up to 2 hours. You KNOW when you are done as it comes out clear! Advise, keep baby wipes handy as toilet paper starts to irritate after a while.

I drink a quart of saltwater ever day and it has helped subdue my allergies and increase my energy. The saltwater flush really helps to detoxify the system which is very important if you live in a polluted city like I do. To make the taste more palatable pour in 2-4 tablespoons of lemon juice and use sea salt! Regular salt is very harsh on the body and tastes terrible. Also make sure the water is warm. Not hot, but warm. It will have a tendancy to run through the kidneys if cold and the bowel if warm.

My friend tried the Master Cleanse and it worked really well for her. I was so impressed with her results that I asked her for the directions so I could try. I did for about 7 days lost 5lbs. Towards the end I realized I stopped losing and my stomach began to swell. I called my friend to see if this was normal and found out that she gave me wrong instructions. I felt so discouraged afterwards that I didn’t even want to do it anymore. It seems as though everywhere I turn I’m hearing about it so I’m taking it as a sign to to give it another chance. Today was day 1, wish me luck. To everyone looking to try it. Don’t rely on the advice of others, buy the book it’s less than $10. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

How many days in a row could you start off with these flushes?
And, how many times a month is good maintenance for the digestive system?
thanks to all responses in advance,

Once every three months, is all we need, this does dehydrates, so it is not good to over do it.
We can start eating after the whole thing is over.

I have been doing this for the past 4 mornings and plan on doing this for the next 5. I have had intestinal issues for a few years now. I am sick of the different meds to control my acid reflux. Since doing this… I have NOT had any issues with acid reflux. And this fella is right.. on day 1 and 2… the smell is horrendous and leaves you wondering what in the world crawled up inside you and died. In addition… my ‘gas’ has basically disappeared too… when I do have gas it does not smell…. I wish i had known about this years ago.

Good Lord, I had an intense 4 hour “Power Flush”. 5 trips to the bathroom. Stepped on the scale and dropped three pounds. Whew….what a way to go..literally!

How stupid can some of you people be??
Asking health related questions here- like “will this raise my blood sugar??”- this isnt a reputable health forum- GO ASK A DOCTOR! Especially if you have a pre existing health condition! DURRRRRR

And dont get so excited over losing a couple pounds- its WATER WEIGHT. It will alllllll come back. Trust me, you’ll see. You didnt actually think you were losing fat out of your ass after a simple salt water chug, DID you??!! ha.

Seriously people, eating better and getting up and moving more, its not that hard and its the only way.

Gene (and anybody else for that matter) - Do NOT drink a quart of saltwater everyday! It is 200% of your daily recommended sodium intake, and it has a dehydration effect on your system. It is not necessary or good for you to do the salt-water cleanse daily. It should only be done once every 3 months. It is quite an aggressive form of colon cleansing and done too often can do more damage than good. I hope others read this who are doing it to often.

I love it, have done it a couple of times, always worked really well expect once when i lay down after drinking (made me nauseous and vomited it all up). - one thing i will suggest - i dont mix it all together - i usually have a glass of warm water, then the sea salt in a shot glass (ie - like you’re taking vitamin tablets), then wash it down with the rest of the water within 10 mins - works just the same and is much more palatable.

I did a variation to make it easier… Instead of drinking 32oz of salty SEA water. which can make u puke… . I measured out 32oz WARM water. Put 2-TEASPOONS sea salt in a small coffee cup 2 or 3 shot glasses of water and 1 shot glass OJ (or real leamon juice). I heated it to melt the salt. Drank all 3-OJ-salt shots holding my nose so I could not smell the salt. Then I finished the rest of the water with no problems. It worked perfectly fine and it is not as bad tasteing as some people are writing. OJ salt water shots work great! BUT YOU “HAVE” TO DRINK THE REST OF THE PLAIN WATER AT LEAST ROOM TEMP IF NOT WARMER..

the sea salt is too heavy to enter into your blood stream. the sodium levels will not effect your body at all. the only thing this will do is suck the water out of your body much like magnesium citrate does but not on that level.

i use this method a few times a month to clear my system. magnesium citrate i use at the beginning and end of a cleanse.

I did Salt water flush last Saturday. I Feel great. It is definitely worth drinking 1 quart sea salt water :) I had light breakfast in the morning. I didn’t eat anything than after & drank 3 cups of sea salt water at 5:00 PM. (Add 2 T spoon sea salt in 4 cups of water.) I could drink only 3 cups.Exactly after 65 mins I visited bathroom for 25 mins. Gosh it smelled too bad :( On & Off I kept going until 9:00 PM. I had ice cream & eddammame that night. Next day I went light on solid food. Drank too much water. Feel so clean & light from inside. This is amazing!

After you take the sea salt flush in, however, you really need to lay on your right side for 30 mins. Then you can get up and move around. Trust me this really works. You just have to be able to last that long. Just stay focus!
