My mind is ready, but my body isn’t
In last post I mention that I finally got my head straight and set up my goal. However, my body betrays me. Gosh, why you have to make it so difficult.
So I went to China town on Saturday for subway transfer. I was walking down the stair and all of a sudden someone pushed me from behind. I jump three steps and my right foot land on the ground first. I heard weird sound in my knee as I twist it. The guy who pushed me didn’t help and ran away. Luckily someone help me to the bench in the subway station and I stretch for 15 minutes. It was too painful at that time and I was able to walk back home.
The next day was a nightmare. My knee swelled really bad that it was twice of it’s normal size. I wasn’t able to straight or bend my knee. It just hurt too much that I can land my right food on the ground. For the whole day I either walked on one foot or used a chair to help me walk. I went to acupuncturist but he told me my knee was swollen too bad that he can’t do anything at that time. He asked me to put ice on my knee and come back when the swell is gone.
I spent my whole day laying on bed with ice on my knee. My knees didn’t feel the ice anymore after an hour. However, it still hurt as hell every time I move. What the best thing to do when you lay on bed? Eat….it is just an nightmare…
