One more reason that i need to get on diet.
I went to Century21 to buy some cloth for spring and it was a painful experience.
Most Asian are short. Average Chinese are 5′7″ where Japanese are 5′ 5″. I am a little bit taller than average at 5′10″. I have always been the big kid in school.
When i buy cloth at store like Express or H&M, i can fit in size M with no problem because their cloth are in loose cut. However, when i buy some designer brand like Le Tiger or Diesel, i need to buy large or extra large. Most of those designer cloth are in slim cut so my big tummy and male boobs pop out.
However, the large or extra large size is too long for me. Most of the time it cover my butt, which is way too long. A polo shirt is ok because i can tuck it in my jeans. However, i look stupid in a long jacket. It is really hard to find something that fits me.
Buying jeans is painful too. My butt and tight is too big so i can’t even fit a a 34″ waist levi’s 501. If i buy a 36″, it looks wried because the jean will hang too low. I need to buy either loose fit or baggy jean, which i hate.
I spent two hours in Century21. They always have high quality brandname cloths in very attractive price. I picked up 5 t-shirt, 2 jeans and a hoodie. The only catch of Century21 is that there is no fitting room in the store so you have to buy it, try it at home and return it if cloth doesn’t fit. I spent $250 (If i buy them in original price it would be higher than 800).
I was very excited to try them on once i got home. Sadly, none of them fit. There is one pair of jean that i can’t even pull the zipper. It was very depressing and i spent an hour on the line in the customer service to return the cloth.
So basically i can’t wear what i want to wear. I hate wear cloth that doesn’t fit. I don’t need to fit in those skinny jean or tight t-shirt. All i want is to be able to fit in medium size..i think i better start workout now
