PICTURE: The Caffeine Curve

By in Daily Health Tips

I am not sure about if the graph is true. It looks like a joke but it is posted on the NYU ‘s website.

caffeine curve PICTURE: The Caffeine Curve

Researches show that people dependent on caffeine are 30 % more likely to develop depression and anxiety, and 20 percent more prone to panic disorders, compare to people who don’t drink coffee regularly. If you consume more than 650 milligrams of caffeine( 5 cup of 8oz coffee, 8 can of red bulls or 20 can of soda), the risk is even greater!

Is there any way to stick around the fifth-cup level? How long do we wait after the fifth cup before drining another one if we want to maintain that level? Seriousloy though – funny blog post. Great diagram. I think I’ll print it out and put it in the break room.

Thanks for posting my graphic! I make a living in pottery, and I
came up with that joke way back in the 1980s. I drew it on the
chalk board at work, and it was up for a couple of months until a
co-worker went to clean off the board. He asked me if I wanted to
make a copy of it, so I wrote it down in my notebook. A year later,
I started drawing cartoons on my pots and this has been one of my
top sellers ever since. You can buy these in my webstore
(www.wallyware.biz). If you type the word “fan” in the discount
section, you’ll get a 10% discount. Best regards, Tom
