I go to supermarket tonight. I’ve got the Lean Cuisine coupon of 5 boxes for 10 buck. That’s 2 dollar a meal(if you feel full with one box) which a quite a deal. I bought 5 different flavor of the lean cuisine meal

I have never eat “healthy” frozen food. Actually I don’t think the word health should relate to frozen food since it is not fresh. My favorite frozen food is Hungry man because it is huge. On the other hand, lean cuisine is so small that people use it for diet purpose. I don’t quite believe frozen food can help you lose weight, but I can give it a try.

I don’t have much faith about the taste. It is just frozen meal after all so I don’t expect much. The designs of the box look clean and attractive. I took the tray out of the box, poke a hole on the film and microwave it for 4 ½ minute.

The one I am having is rosemary chicken – “Roasted chicken tenderloins in a garlic-rosemary sauce, spinach and brown rice”. Just like other frozen food, there is a lot of water. The rice is tasteless. I need to mix with the rosemary sauce to eat it. The chicken feels weird. It is too soft that I don’t feel like eating meat. It is way too small (which is good because it taste bad)..if you eat only one box a meal, you can totally lose some weight…

So this lean cuisine has 220 calories. It has only 4 gram of fat (6%) and 2 gram of saturated fat (9%). The sodium is kind of high, 610mg (25%) (even it is not salty). It has 29 g of carbs, 3g of fiber and 17g of protein, which is very good.
