Yoga and Dieting
A healthy diet contain two part – eating the right amount of food and exercising. Most people jog or workout in the gym. Lately, more people choose yoga as their exercise.
Yoga is a spiritual experience and profound understanding or insight into the nature of existence. Many people think yoga is not an exercise because you don’t move. However, you can burn up to 300 calories doing yoga. Also, yoga is easy to perform. It doesn’t require a lot of space or any equipment. All you need is a yoga mat and comfortable cloth. You can perform yoga any time.
Beside burning calories, yoga also improves circulation, stimulate the abdominal organs, and put pressure on the glandular system of the body, which can generally result to better health. Your mind will be clear because of the meditation.
There are five branch of yoga
• Bhakti Yoga or Yoga of Devotion
• Raja Yoga or Yoga of Self-Control
• Jnana Yoga or Yoga of the Mind
• Karma Yoga or Yoga of Service
• Tantra Yoga or Yoga of Rituals
If you want to learn more about yoga, there are lot of book for beginner. However, the best is to learn from a teacher. Most health club offer yoga class for no extra charge. Tai Chi is another nice exercise program that incorporates relaxation and a spiritual component. I have a dvd to learn the basics that I really enjoy.

Yeah, yoga is fun. During my career as a high school student, I took yoga almost every semester and I think it was very fun. It was good exercise too.

If you want to get in shape then try hot yoga (heated yoga) like Bikram Yoga….just google for other benefits
